Our beautiful detached house Woodlands was built in 1882. The house has an interesting history and was a private school for evacuees in WWII, and a hotel in the 1960s.
We are located a short walk from Lynton town in the West Lyn valley where it is very peaceful and an ideal starting point for many walks.
The famous Valley of Rocks, beautiful Watersmeet, The South West Coast Path, Lee Bay, Woody Bay, Heddons Mouth, The Coleridge Way and The Two Moors Way are all accessible from our doorstep so you don't need to use the car again once you've arrived!
Woodlands offers a choice of two lovely properties in which to stay:
The Cottage and The Penthouse
We also offer a further holiday cottage located very close to Woodlands called Little Wing.
